Ceiling Fan Bulbs – Choosing the Right Bulbs For Your Ceiling Fan
If you want to place glassware on top of your ceiling fan, you can use a grille filter and purchase a downrod. Both of these accessories can be purchased separately, but they’re usually sold in packs of multiples. The size of the downrod depends on the size of your bulb. For example, if you have an E12 bulb, you’ll need an intermediate downrod, whereas if you have a medium bulb, you’ll need a downrod.
To choose the right bulbs for your ceiling fan, you’ll need to decide whether you want candelabra, intermediate, or mini candelabra bases. Older models use a medium-light bulb fitting, while newer ones use a mini candelabra. The type of light bulb you choose will also depend on the wiring system. Make sure that you’re getting a bulb that works with the type of remote control you have installed.
Most new models of ceiling fans require a mini candelabra or medium bulb. The other three types of bulbs are the standard medium, candelabra, and halogen. These light bulbs are typically very inexpensive, but you should still check the specifications. Most manufacturers use different sizes of bulbs, so you need to make sure that the ones you buy fit your ceiling. A halogen bulb is best, but you can also buy incandescent or tungsten-based bulb if you want to keep it looking new.
