If you’ve had your ceiling fan for a while, chances are that you’ve noticed some parts starting to go bad. You might need to replace some of them or get a new one altogether.

Parts That Cause Problems
If you notice that your fan’s lights aren’t turning on, or you have a flickering bulb, it may be time to replace the light kit. This part is responsible for generating enough power to run the light and also control how it’s used.
You’ll need to find the model number of your fan and note that before sending it in. This will make it much easier for them to identify the correct replacement part.
It’s also a good idea to include any notes that you might have about the problem. You could even include a photo to help them understand what is wrong with the unit.
If you need to replace your ceiling fan’s blades, there are several different sizes and shapes available. Be sure to pick up a pack that has the right amount of blades for your fan.
