Article about ceiling fan vaulted ceiling
I have a ceiling fan mounted in the peak of my two story vaulted ceiling. Would it be more efficient to run it in summer counter clockwise to create a downdraft and pull the cool air from below, or in winter clockwise to push warm air up toward the ceiling? (I also want to know how to get a junction box up there without dropping down the ceiling.)
Shane says to assemble the fan on the floor before lifting it up. Then, when you are ready to hang it, just line up one vertical slot in the ball with a tab on the hanging bracket and it will hook into place.
